Wildlife Hero Training Class Series - Mammal Rescue & Handling

In this immersive class series, participants will learn the essential skills to safely and effectively rescue wild animals in distress. Whether you come across an injured bird, an orphaned mammal, or any other wild creature in need of help, this program equips you with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference.

Through expert-led instruction and real-world scenarios, you will explore the fundamentals of wildlife handling, first aid, and transportation, all while prioritizing the well-being of both the animal and the rescuer. Topics include species-specific rescue techniques, assessing an animal’s condition, understanding wildlife laws and regulations, and knowing when to involve professional rehabilitation centers.

Designed for nature lovers, aspiring volunteers, and anyone passionate about animal welfare, this course will leave you prepared to respond with compassion and expertise when wildlife needs your help.

Each class has a donation fee is $50 per participant or $125 for all three classes (use discount code WHT2024)

1-hour classes from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm on the following dates:

November 23rd: Mammal Rescue and Handling

December 14th: Reptile and Amphibian Rescue and Handling
