Bird Beak Bonanza: Discover How Birds Eat!

  • Northern Colorado Wildlife Center Fort Collins, Colorado, 80526 United States (map)

Join us for a beak-tastic adventure as we explore the fascinating world of bird beaks! In this interactive class, kids will learn how different types of birds use their unique beaks to find food, build nests, and more. From sharp hawk beaks to spoon-shaped duck bills, each shape is perfectly designed for a purpose in nature.

🌟 Class Highlight: Kids will experiment with different “beaks” to see how each type works—testing their skills at “catching food” like real birds!

Perfect for young nature enthusiasts ages 5-8, this hands-on experience is designed to inspire curiosity and teach kids about the incredible adaptations that make each bird special.

For ages 5-8. This is not a drop-off program. A guardian must remain with the child(ren) at all times.

This is a free program but donations are always appreciated!

*Please wait 3-5 business days for conformation email
