The Medium 2-Door Trap is a great option for cottontails and medium sized rodents. The trap ls small enough to fit in tight spaces, but allows ample space for animals up to the size of a large rabbit. This trap is also very easy to set!

Setting Instructions

  • Place the cable loop around the metal loop on the top of the trap.

  • Flip the handle to the back of the trap.

    That’s it, you’re all set!

Baiting Instructions and Suggestions

For this trap, bait should be placed in the center of the trap. Bait will depend on the species and situation, but here’s a few suggestions:

Fox Squirrels, Chipmunks, and Ground Squirrels:

  • Peanuts/peanut butter

  • Apples

  • Sunflower seeds

  • Popcorn

  • Apple

  • Brussel sprouts

Cottontails

  • Mixed greens
